Paddy Power Memorial Cruise & Poker Run 2025
The annual Paddy Power Memorial Cruise & Poker Run has been rescheduled and will now take place on Sunday, October 19th, 2025. This special event is held in memory of Paddy Power, one of our founding members, and coincides with the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day. The cruise is an opportunity for all participants to come together and celebrate Paddy’s legacy.
The original event date was postponed earlier this year due to unfavourable weather conditions. As this is one of the last opportunities to host the cruise before the year ends, we are hopeful for good weather and a successful gathering. We encourage everyone to join us for this meaningful occasion.
Participants are invited to wear their best green attire in honour of St. Patrick’s Day. There will be prizes awarded for the best dressed Irishman and Irishwoman, so don’t miss the chance to showcase your festive spirit!
Our journey will begin at the South Cairns Sports Club, where we will meet from 9:45 AM and plan to depart around 10.15 AM. From there, we will travel to a few stops before we reach our destination, .
All car clubs are welcome to join. Participants can either start the cruise with the group or join along the route as we head north to Crystal Cascades for the third card, and then on to Cattana Wetlands for the fourth card and a smoko break. (Softdrink, Water & Homemade Biscuits supplied)
The final leg of the cruise will take us to our member’s Mike & Annie’s Chopper Museum, where they will put on a BBQ and the last card will be drawn before announcing the results.
