Sunday Moto Australia 20th May

I know this Sunday is our club sports day and I will be attending but also on that day after that event I will heading to Moto Australia where they have opened up a private motorcycle collection not usually open to the public, I went to the first Moto Australia public open day and it is truly something to be seen.

They will have an open day this Sunday from 9am till late afternoon displaying their rare and exciting bikes – while the entry fees will go to the Red Shield Appeal of the Salvation Army. Also a sausage sizzle.

Australia Classic has joined this charity effort and have volunteered to display a few of the cars entered in there rally. The AACCC has been invited to come along after the sports day and also display there cars on the foot path right out front if they wish, Look for Zoltan The tall Hungarian gentleman from Australia Classic Rally who spoke at our meeting, he will help with displaying your car if you wish. The cars displayed out front will likely raise the amount of funds collected for the Salvos as well as raise awareness about the upcoming rally and promote classic motoring in general. Visitors who pay the entry fee will also receive a free drink at the Union Jack later, Australia Classic will have a car on exhibit there as well.

Maybe set up our AACCC flags next to the Australia Classic table and hand out our brochures, public awareness about our club? I have spoke to the owners of Moto Australia and we are welcome to do this. Food for thought I will chat about that to you at the sports day.
